<p><p>Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Emmaus Church, Spring Valley.</p> <p>Visitation will be from noon until 2:30 p.m. on July 16, 2025, at Emmaus Church prior to the service.</p> <p>Cody William Klasse, age 18, of Emerald, WI passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2025.</p> <p>Cody was born on February 13, 2007 in River Falls, WI.&nbsp; He attended Glenwood City Schools and graduated from the Class of 2025.</p> <p>Cody enjoyed the simple things in life.&nbsp; He liked spending an evening by the campfire, casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, hanging out with friends, gaming, or working on the farm. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed using it to “torment” his sisters, which was really his way of showing them he loved them!&nbsp; Cody was close to his older brother Dylan, and liked gaming with him and spending time together.</p> <p>His best friend was Gage Cone ever since they met at a young age when Gage came over on his pedal tractor to ask if Cody could play.&nbsp; &nbsp;That was the beginning of a lifelong friendship, they grew up and graduated together and made many memories along the way.</p> <p>Cody’s adventurous spirit, big heart, and genuine kindness touched everyone he met.&nbsp; He was always there if someone needed him.&nbsp; He chose to be an organ donor when he got his driver’s license.</p> <p>He brought so much light, love, and laughter into our lives and it’s hard to imagine our world without him.</p> <p>Cody is survived by his parents, Shari and Ryan Larson and Aaron Klasse. His brother Dylan Olson, four sisters Haley Klasse, Whitney (Corey Eggert) Klasse, Taylor Larson and Shelby Larson.&nbsp; His grandparents Carin and Richard Grinde, Larry Klasse, grandparents Steve Larson, Robin Larson and Scott Palmer, grandmother Debby Segelstrom and great grandmother Doris Segelstrom. And many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.</p> <p>Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather Jeffery Segelstrom, great grandparents Gary Segelstrom, Max and Marge Downs, Ernest and Margery Gustman &nbsp;and Anna and Gerhart Klasse.</p> <p>We’d like to thank everyone for the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown us during this tough time. To honor Cody, we’ll be celebrating his life at Emmaus Church, Spring Valley, WI on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Emmaus Church, Spring Valley. Visitation will be from noon until 2:30 p.m. on July 16, 2025, at Emmaus Church prior to the service.</p> </p>
