<p><p> Patricia A. “Patty” Vickers 77, of Worcester, passed away suddenly on July 2nd, 2025. She was born in Worcester, MA on August 30, 1947, daughter of the late Charles Lapinsky and Mary Santimaw (Choruzek); she lived in Worcester all her life, retiring from Independent Plating in 2015.</p> <p> Patty was Proud to be Polish and was especially proud of her ability to cook and serve delicious Polish meals to her family and to all she held close to her heart; she was also an avid cookie baker. Patty, a lover of felines, would often care for the homeless cats in the neighborhood; she adored them so much, she adorned her home with cat nicknacks and figurines.</p> <p> Patty was a loving and caring person who will be deeply missed, though it brings us comfort to know Patty is now reunited with her parents and her sister Janet Horton; She is saying goodbye to her son Shawn Mard and partner Lissette Maisonave; two grandchildren: Travis and Tyler Mard; her great-grandchild Nikita Mard; her sister Michele Santimaw; her nephew Christopher Law, and many people she was blessed to know, as she was a blessing to them.</p> <p> All are welcome to say farewell to Patty and pay respects to her family during Calling Hours on Wednesday July 9th, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA.</p> <p>A guest book is available at www.gpmfunerals.com where you may offer condolences, share fond memories, or light a candle in remembrance of Patty.</p> </p>
