<p>Gordon Lambert Spingle</p><p><br></p><p>November 10, 1944 – July 3, 2025</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>It is with profound sadness in the deepest sense of gratitude for a beautiful life and legacy that the family of Gordon Spingle of Lanse au Clair, announce his passing, aged 80 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 52 years Sarah (Sheppard) and his two sons: Jason (Linda) and Paul (Stephanie). His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his beloved grandchildren - Markus, Jordan, Isabella &amp; Julia.</p><p><br></p><p>He will be deeply missed by his beloved family including siblings: Linda, Emma, Rhoda, Harvey (Shirley), Lionel (Marcella), Riley (Christina), Mary (Donald), Mervyn (Gladys), Eileen (Craig), Phyllis (Fabian), Della (Chesley), Melita, Earl (Cheryl) ; In-Laws (Sarah) - Valerie, Wanda, Naomi (Joe), Craig (Gwen), Jackie (Bud) ; also Phyllis, Florence, Cheryl, Shelia and closest friends.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon Sr. (St. Paul’s River, QC) and Georgina (Wellman) {Old Fort Bay, QC}, sister Nora (at birth), brothers Murray, Joseph (Joe), Gerald (Gerry) and brother-in-law Kenneth (Ken).</p><p><br></p><p>A carpenter by trade, he loved his work and the simple pleasures of life including hunting, fishing, berry picking, watching the songbirds and most of all gardening.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Gordon was gracious and humble, an inspiration in hard work and courage, and truest manifestation of a gentleman.
