<p>In Loving Memory of Betty Ann Morgan</p><p><br></p><p>June 21, 1937 – July 2, 2025</p><p><br></p><p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Ann Morgan on July 2, 2025, at the age of 88.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty was the beloved wife of the late Stan Morgan (1986) and was predeceased by her cherished daughter, Wanda Brewer (2001). She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted son-in-law, Darrell Brewer, and her treasured grandchildren, Tracy Brewer (Pete Johnson), Trevor Brewer and Michelle Cheetham. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren, Ty Melburn, Zack Melburn (Faith Johnson), Sierra Cheetham, Mathew Robittaille, and her precious great-great grandchild Brinley Melburn, all of whom brought her endless pride and joy. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends near and far.</p><p></p><p>Betty was known for her spirited nature, her deep compassion, and her bright personality. She cared passionately for her family, friends, and community, always offering kindness and a listening ear.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty was a dedicated member of Strathcona Park Presbyterian Church, where she found solace in prayer, strength in scripture, and joy in her church community. Among her proudest personal milestones was fulfilling her lifelong wish of becoming Catholic later in life.</p><p></p><p>Betty worked proudly for more than 30 years at the YMCA, followed by 15 years as a friendly and familiar hostess at McDonald’s. She remained active well into her 80s, enjoying baking, reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty’s family wish to thank all the Providence Transitional Care Centre Level 3 Staff for their endless support and exceptional care. We will be forever grateful.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Friends may be received on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 1-3pm and 6 -8pm at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston). A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday 11am at St Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in Reception Center at James Reid Funeral Home. </p><p><br></p><p></p><p>As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, please consider requesting an Announced Catholic Mass at St. Françoise d’Assise Church (Kingston Ontario) in Betty’s memory.</p>
