<p>Jean Moore Smith age 94 of Linden, AL went to her eternal home on July 1, 2025. She was born May 9, 1931 in North Perry, AL to William Jonathan and Dora Hartley Moore. She was retired from Marengo County Health Department and a member of Linden Methodist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Smith; parents, William Jonathan and Dora Hartley Moore; and siblings, Burlia Moore Coleman, Howard Aubrey Moore, Wylodene Moore Perkins, William Clifford Moore, Harold Deward Moore, and Waymon Gerald Moore.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her son, Byron Lee Smith of Linden, AL; daughters, Nedra Smith McMullin (Roy) of Montgomery, AL, and Tina Smith Whitfield (Craig) of Linden, AL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Matthew Ryan McMullin (Anna Louise), Nathan Whitlee McMullin (Courtney), Corey Laine McMullin (Ines), Colton Thomas Baugh (Bethany), and Ashton Connor Baugh (Hayley); and eleven great grandchildren, Evan Matthew McMullin, Clayton Davis McMullin, Mary Lauren McMullin, John Whitlee McMullin, Riggins Smith McMullin, Hubert Randolph McMullin, Eliza Stone McMullin, Rosie Amelia McMullin, Annalee Grace Baugh, Cameron Elizabeth Baugh, and Brooks Thomas Baugh.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held at Linden Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00 am with Rev. Troy Henderson officiating. Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Mt. Hermon Methodist Church Cemetery in Greensboro, AL.</p><p><br></p><p>Active pallbearers will be Matt McMullin, Nathan McMullin, Colton Baugh, Ashton Baugh, Dalton Guy, and Lynwood Smith. </p><p><br></p><p>Honorary pallbearer is Corey Laine McMullin.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be made to Linden Methodist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home</p><p><br></p>May 9, 1931 - July 1, 202505/09/193107/01/2025
