<p>Steven Adam Kauffeld, 34, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. Born in New York, New York, Steven moved to New Jersey as a child and remained close to his family throughout his life.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Steven was a quiet soul with a thoughtful nature. He often observed the world in his own way, taking things in with calm and quiet presence. Though he didn’t always speak much, when he did, his words carried meaning, humor, and heart. His quick wit and subtle sense of humor brought unexpected joy and comfort to those around him.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>He had a kind and generous heart, and he was the person you could always count on—whether it was helping someone through a tough time or simply being there with quiet support. Steven’s love for his family and his deep empathy for others never wavered.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>He was a devoted uncle to his ten nieces and nephews, many of whom he helped care for when they were small. His presence in their lives was full of laughter, warmth, and unwavering love. He left a lasting impression that will always be remembered.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Steven is survived by his loving parents, Douglas and Marion Kauffeld; his beloved siblings, Kimberlee Behler, Douglas Kauffeld, Kandice Marter, and Timothy Kauffeld; and his cherished nieces and nephews: Kelsey Kauffeld, Douglas Kauffeld, Carson Behler, Brody Behler, Elizabeth Kauffeld, Kadence Marter, Adam Kauffeld, Dylan Coulson, Jack Marter, and Felix Kauffeld. He also leaves behind his dear grandmother, Concetta Kauffeld, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, July 7th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
