<p><p>Kathy Rose Choinsky, age 66, of Rhinebeck, NY, passed away on June 17, 2025, in Poughkeepsie, NY after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 16, 1959, in Rhinebeck, she was one of five daughters of the late Oscar and Mae (Tebo) Rasmussen.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathy's spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was found in the love of her family. Kathy is survived by her children, Adam Choinsky and Alison Link, and her son-in-law, Jamie. Her world was made all the brighter by her beloved grandchildren, Samantha and Emily Link, whose adventures and milestones filled her with immense pride and happiness.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathy will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she extended to everyone she met. She possessed a rare ability to make others feel valued and heard, creating a legacy of compassion that will live on through the countless lives she touched.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathy's interests were anchored in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, teaching them the value of kindness and the strength found in family ties. Her thoughtful presence was a source of comfort and joy to her friends and loved ones.</p><p><br></p><p>As Kathy's journey on earth concludes, those who knew her will cling to the memories of her courage in the face of illness, her selflessness, and her unwavering commitment to those she held dear. She lived her life with a graceful strength that inspired all, and her story will be told for generations to come.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathy Rose Choinsky's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
