<p>Brooke Elizabeth Propes</p><p><br></p><p>Born silent into this world on May 2, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>With broken hearts and infinite love, we announce the birth and passing of our precious daughter, Brooke Elizabeth Propes, who was born sleeping on May 2, 2025. Though she never took a breath in this world, she left an indelible mark on our hearts that will last a lifetime.</p><p><br></p><p>Brooke was a beautiful baby girl, cherished from the moment we knew of her existence. We dreamed of her future, of her laughter and her light, and of all the memories we hoped to make. Her life, though far too brief, was filled with love, anticipation, and a depth of connection that words can scarcely ex-press.</p><p><br></p><p>She was lovingly awaited by her parents, Shawna and Preston Propes, and her big brother, Noah, who was so excited to meet his baby sister. Brooke is also deeply mourned and endlessly loved by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were eager to welcome her into the world. Her absence is profoundly felt, yet her presence remains—woven into every beat of our hearts and every breath we take.</p><p><br></p><p>Brooke Elizabeth will never be forgotten. She is our daughter, our little girl, our love, and our loss. She taught us about the fragility of life, the depth of grief, and the boundless strength of a parent’s love. Her memory will be honored always, and her name will be spoken with love for all the days to come.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services for Brooke will be held on Monday, May 12th, 2025, at 3:00 PM by Rev. Scott Sterowski of Holy Cross Parish, in the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City. Friends and family may call on Monday, May 12th, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
