<p>Our loving Mother, Carol Sue Rider Wilson, 79 of Oak Hill WV went home to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, May 1, 2025. While we are sad for the loss of our Mother, we rejoice in the fact she is now with Jesus and with our Daddy again which is what she wanted. Mom was born on January 19, 1946, in Corlis WV to the late John Cameron and Bertha Rider.</p><p>Our Mother devoted her life to her husband and raising her family. She loved with all that she had and there was always room for more at her table. She attended church faithfully, was a good friend, and such a kind soul.</p><p>In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her loving husband Marshall Wilson, a very cherished Son-in-law Kevin Zink, siblings: James D (Laura) Rider, Joan V (Jim) Carte, John T (Ernestine) Rider, Ray G Rider, and Betty L Carver, and brother-in-law Earl Gipson.</p><p>Those left to cherish her memory are her four daughters: Penny Zink, Lisa (Donnie) Wilson, Marsha (Mike) Cooper, and Kimberly Wilson, honorary son Roger (Israel) Wilson, six grandchildren: Rebecca Whited (Shawn), Aaron Cooper (Erin), Tyler Wilson (Erica) Josh Cooper (Allison), Malaya and Micah Wilson, three greatgrandchildren: Carly Whited, Braelyn Shumaker, and Holden Cooper, sister Frances Gipson, sister-in-law Shari Rider, brother-in-law Eddie Carver, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and honorary grandkids: Matthew Syner, Madison White, Ashley and Jessica Gardner, Jenna and Jill Weatherford, Taylor Crist, Mackenzie Nuckols, Makailyn Richardson, Oley and Grady Jackson, Mila Clement, and Evie.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Carol Wilson’s name to the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.</p><p>Services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted, WV with Pastors Bill McClung and Dallas Mills.
