<p>Sandra K. Rishel, 79 of Danville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Sandra was born in Danville, on June 24, 1945, a daughter of the late Myron and Mildred (Snyder) Diehl.</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra was a 1962 graduate of Millville High School. Sandra worked on her father’s farm, Diehl’s Poultry Farm. Also, for approximately a decade, Sandra owned and operated Diehl’s Farm Market. She organized Pow Wow’s and Bluegrass festivals, of which thousands of people enjoyed.</p><p><br></p><p>Over the years, Sandra held memberships at several local churches; St. Peter Lutheran Columbia Hill, Jerseytown United Methodist and Foot of the Cross.</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra enjoyed Christmas, baking and gardening. Sandra loved spending time with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>On July 31, 1965, Sandra married her beloved husband, Bradley D. Rishel Sr, who preceded her in death on December 30, 2019.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband and parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle Ellsworth Sanford and sister, Relayne Plues.</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra is survived by her son, Bradley D. Rishel Jr. and his wife, Melinda of Danville; two daughters, Lori Ann Sanford and her husband, Kevin of Chalfont, PA and Suzanne Rishel of Muncy; seven grandchildren, Nathan Bradley Sanford and his wife, Andrea, Tyler Evan Sanford, Kurt Bradley Rishel, Carra Marie Rishel, Kaitlan May Anderson, Rylie Kay Hall and Kagan Ryder Hall; two great-grandchildren, Kylie Sanford and Trinity Sanford; one brother, Myron “Sonny” Diehl Jr. and his wife, Carmella of Hazelton, two sisters, Faye Ann Shetler of Millville and Mary Jane Bitler of Wind Gap.</p><p><br></p><p>In honoring Sandra’s wishes, her funeral services will be private. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Paul Dauenbaugh. Interment will take place at Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Brady Funeral Home of Danville.
