<p>Robert E. Doherty, age 62 of Attleboro, passed away at his residence with his beloved wife Gloria by his side. </p><p>He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Chaves) Doherty. </p><p>Born in Boston, Robert was the son of the late Arthur and Lena (Cacicio) Doherty </p><p>Before his illness, Robert was employed with The Veterans Administration as Chief of Environmental Management Services. </p><p>Bob was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. He was a hard worker who would help any person in need. Robert will be missed by many. He enjoyed traveling word wide with his wife, playing golf, cooking and classical music. Most of all he cherished time spent at home with his beloved wife. </p><p>Bob was involved in various organizations </p><p>Mr. Doherty’s funeral with visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 8am with a service to begin at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. </p><p>Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. </p><p>For expressions of sympathy, to sign an online guestbook or to light a memorial candle, visit www.silvafuneralhome.com </p>April 27, 202504/27/2025
