<p>Chester Keith Gouge, 65, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2025 at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born on July 24, 1959, in Michigan City, to Dalford and Christine (Scalf) Gouge.</p><p><br></p><p>On September 18, 2004, in Michigan City, Indiana, God blessed the broken road, and he married the love of his life and soul mate, Becky Adey, who survives. The love they shared knew no bounds and they would have walked through fire for one another. Together they successfully blended a happy and loving family.</p><p><br></p><p>Also surviving are two sons, Jason Gouge of Michigan City and Alec Gouge of Westville; four daughters, Heather Hummel of La Porte, Jennifer (Sam) Klettke of La Porte, Cassandra Gouge of Westville, and Amber (Evan) Vanator of South Bend; two brothers, Daryl Gouge of Crawfordsville and Bruce (Chad) Gouge of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Diana Lynn Wray of Michigan City and Penny Archambeault; nine grandchildren, Travis, Aubrey, Haleigh, Ayden, Cameron, Caryssa, Mia, Caison, and Isaac; special nieces, Missy Archambeault and Janelle Anderson; several other nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Gracie and Callie.</p><p><br></p><p>He loved his wife and family tremendously. They meant the world to him as he did to them. He spoiled his wife beyond what any woman deserves. He also had the patience of a saint to put up with her. He was a huge Colts fan and a huge Cubs fan. Johnson Rd. La Porte, (219) 362- 3100.
