<p>Mary Anne “Peachy” Keane of Arlington passed unexpectedly on April 9, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary Anne attended St. Agnes School, where she was a member of the St. Agnes CYO band, and she graduated from Arlington Catholic High School in 1974.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary Anne worked in the medical field in and around MGH for most of her life. She took two years off to get her Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She loved to garden, travel, go to concerts and dance.</p><p><br></p><p>AMA, you were strong and independent, loved taking your neices and nephews to Disney and spoiling them when you had the chance. Thank you for the joy and happiness you brought into our lives. We love you.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary Anne was born on March 12, 1956, to the late Francis “Bud” Keane and the late Anne T. Keane (Sheridan) of Arlington. Sister of Francis (Buddy) D. Keane of Brooklin, ME, Robert H. Keane of Wilmington, NC, Patrick D. Keane and wife Karen (Ganley) of Wilmington, the late Terrence J. Keane of Arlington, and Annie Keane and husband Philip Joseph of Gloucester. Aunt of Dennis Keane and his wife Lauren, Maura Keane and her partner Ferd, Megan Belmore and her husband Matt, Sean Keane and his partner Allie, Daniel Keane and his partner Kate, and Dillon Keane and his fiancée Jamie.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street in Arlington from 4-7 pm on April 24, 2025. Prayers will be led by Mary Anne’s uncle, Fr. Joseph Robinson, at 6:30 pm. Burial will be at 11am April 25, 2025 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Relatives and friends can meet at the main gate of the cemetery, 70 Pleasant Street, Arlington.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary Anne’s honor to Arlington Catholic High School,16 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474.</p>March 12, 1956 - April 10, 202503/12/195604/10/2025
