<p><p>OBITUARY OF WILLIAM PAUL BEYERS Ed.D.</p><p><br></p><p>6-10-1947 - 4-11-2025</p><p><br></p><p>William Paul Beyers Ed.D. (Bill), left this world on April 11,2025 on his beloved grandmother Argie’s birthday. He was born on June 10, 1947 in the Fairview section of Camden, NJ to William Charles Beyers and Marie Grzechowiak Beyers. Bill met the love of his life, Janice Barbarito Beyers in 1971. They would have been married for 52 years on May 19, 2025. Janice and Bill built their home on 5 acres in the Laureldale section of Mays Landing, NJ. There they raised their two sons, Bill Jr. and Clint. No matter how busy he was with work or college, he always made time for fishing, traveling and spending quality time with his boys. He was so proud of them. Bill had a love of animals, especially Abby Rose, his Frenchie who misses him very much.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill is survived by William Paul Beyers Jr. CRNA and his wife Leah Gudia Beyers CRNA. Clint Charles Beyers and his wife, Rachel Crespo Beyers. As a grandfather (POP-POP) to Rosemarie Antoinetta Beyers BSN, William Paul Beyers III, and Isabella Kathleen Beyers, he spoiled them with love and understanding enjoying every minute. He spent quality time taking them shopping, eating crabs in Maryland and Delaware, and had many outings to kid friendly places. Nothing was ever to much trouble when it came to the grandchildren!</p><p><br></p><p>Bill is also survived by his “little sister” Diane Beyers DiCiurcio and her husband William T. DiCiurcio II, Esq. Their father died at the young age of 42 when Diane was only 3 which gave them a special brother/father relationship. Diane and William have four children. Krista D. DiCiurcio, Dr. William T. DiCiurcio III, Dillon DiCiurcio and Priscilla D. DiCiurcio. Bill was an active loving uncle who shared his love and life with them as much as possible. Children meant the world to him!</p><p><br></p><p>Dr. Bill Beyers had over 55 years of experience in all levels of formal education. His experiences range from possibly being the youngest full-time junior high school teacher in NJ at the age of 18 to teaching on the collegiate level at the age of 23 for 26 years. His academic credentials include an under-graduate degree in education, a graduate degree in counseling psychology from Glassboro State College and a doctorate in early and middle childhood education from Nova University.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill was the founder of the Barbarito and Beyers Preschools, Inc., which he named after William C. Beyers and Charles P. Barbarito. Bill and Janice always felt privileged to be marriage and business partners for so many years! He was involved in all management in correlation with child-care projects and consultations. B&amp;B operated centers throughout Atlantic and Cape May Counties in colleges, public schools, malls (Childcare While You shop), casinos (Kid’s Drop-In Fun Centers) and private facilities for 45 years. He was on the advisory board and wrote his own column for “Baby’s World” magazine, in addition to a long running local, syndicated educational radio program. He was president of the Mays Landing Rotary Club, served as a board member on the Industrial Commission for Hamilton Township and served on the township committee. He was a staff officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 8-4. He and his family are members of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mays Landing.</p><p><br></p><p>William Paul Beyers Sr. was considered to be an entrepreneur and ahead of his time when it involved childcare. However, what made him so special was that he valued the love of family and friends the most.</p><p><br></p><p>A viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th from 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday, April 26th from 10am-12pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 26th at 1pm at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Burial immediately following.</p></p>
