<p>Patrick James Bowman, age 67, of Ripley, Illinois passed away at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his residence.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>He was born August 17, 1957 in Beardstown, Illinois the son of Michael Angelo Stell and Norma Louise Bowman.&nbsp; He married Patricia Lynn Silkwood on July 30, 1977 in Mt. Sterling, Illinois and she survives.&nbsp; </p><p>Patrick was a self-employed pallet manufacturer and also worked as a roofer for several years.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>He attended Brown County schools and was of the Christian faith.&nbsp; Patrick always enjoyed diving in the Illinois River for mussel shells, hunting and he loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed his fur babies.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patty Bowman of Ripley, Illinois.&nbsp; Four children Bridget Turner of Colchester, Illinois, James Bowman (significant other, Sara) of Rushville, Illinois, Chad Bowman (significant other, Sherry) of Beardstown, Illinois and Mark Bowman (wife, Velvia) of Ripley, Illinois.&nbsp; Fifteen grandchildren Nicholas, Alex, Gage, Heather, Dereck, Matthew, Logan, Allison, Jasper, Maliki, Nathan, Autumn, Luke, Wyatt and Carson.&nbsp; Eight great grandchildren Jace, Eli, Kevin, Carter, Coulton, Jaxon, Bentley and Kash.&nbsp; Two sisters Dottie Maxwell (Monte) of Beardstown, Illinois and Melanie Lewis (Rob) of Ripley, Illinois also survive along with several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Michael Lee Bowman and Thomas Brian Stell, two sisters Pamela Diane Pineda and Rosemary Bowman and a very close and special uncle Tilford Raymond (Ramone) Bowman.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 in the Ripley Church of God in Ripley, Illinois with Pastor Rob Laning officiating.&nbsp; </p><p>Burial will follow in the Ripley Cemetery.&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.&nbsp; </p><p>Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses.&nbsp; </p><p>Condolences for the family may be left on line at hendrickerfuneralhome.com.<br> The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt.
