<p>Gayle Hilton, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Plainfield, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Gayle was born on January 28, 1956, the daughter of the late George Karl and Jean Stella (nee Chmiel) Tuhowski. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Gayle was a graduate of Kelly High School. She retired from Silver Cross Hospital after just shy of 25 dedicated years as an OB Tech.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In her free time, Gayle enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, or curling up with a good book. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters, and was known for her diaper creations for any special occasion. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Gayle is survived by her three daughters, Jessica (Mark) Dorner, Erika Blaszczyk, and Ashlee Hilton; and her five grandchildren, Willow, M.J., Zachary, Bentley, and Abigail. She is also survived by four siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded by her husband, John E. Hilton; her parents; and one brother.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life for Gayle Hilton will be held at a later date. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>For more information please call the Fred C.
