<p>With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ramon Galvan, who departed this life on March 4, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on December 30, 1950, Ramon was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family will always be remembered.</p><p><br></p><p>Ramon shared his life with his wife, Esperanza Galvan. He had a deep passion for horses and riding, finding peace and joy in the saddle. He also loved listening to music, often letting his favorite songs bring him comfort and happiness. Whether on horseback or enjoying a melody, Ramon embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm. His love for his family, his generous spirit, and his appreciation for the things that brought him happiness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Galvan, and his loving children: Juan Galvan (Lupe), Eduardo Galvan (Raquel), Ramon Galvan, Ernesto Galvan (Jennifer), and Wilfredo Galvan; his cherished grandchildren: Kassandra, Isreal, Manny, Anahi, Princess, George, Allison, Emilio, Rosa, Ernesto, Tina, Antonio, Brenna, Isabel, and Ysabella; his beloved great-grandchildren: Olivia, Eliana, Nina, George, and Isabella; his siblings: Mario Galvan, Eduardo Galvan, Jose Galvan, Jesus Galvan, Refugia Galvan, Cuca Galvan, and Carmelita Galvan; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.</p><p><br></p><p>Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Galvan and his mother, Rosa Sanchez.</p><p><br></p><p>A Visitation to honor Ramon's life will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his memory and share their cherished moments with him. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1025 E Madison, Lombard.
