Lyndon Bernard Richter
<p>Lyndon Richter passed away after a lengthy illness with Cancer and from complications of pneumonia with his children Charlene and Grant and his partner Lori by his side on March 5, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>Lyndon was born in Broadview, SK on May 20, 1950, minutes before his twin sister. The family moved from the farm in Broadview to Regina where they resided until their parents divorced and Mom relocated to Winnipeg with her 5 children. Lyndon attended Tec Voc and was one of the hallway boys. </p><p><br></p><p>Lyndon was a skilled tradesman and worked as a sheet metal worker and welder for various companies. He retired from Canada Post where he had been hired as a welder and transitioned to a mail sorter when the welding position was dissolved. When Lyndon wasn’t working at his job, he would restore classic trucks and help people with odd jobs. He was truly a jack of all trades and a man of service. Lyndon was very outgoing and would make a point of meeting all the persons in the neighbourhood or campground and share a joke with all. </p><p><br></p><p>Lyndon will be missed by his surviving siblings, Leonard, Norman, Lynda and his children, Charlene and Blaine and their daughters, Norah and Madeline and Grant and Taylor and their son Kane and his partner Lori. Cremation has taken place, and an interment and Celebration of Life will be announced later and held in the spring/summer. </p><p><br></p><p>The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Maksymiuk and his nurses at Cancer Care over the past 4+ years and Dr. Tim Hiebert at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion.
