<p>James H. Lynn, Jr., 89 of South Connellsville died on Tuesday February 18, 2025 in the Hillside Estates Suites. He was born on April 5, 1935 in South Connellsville a son of the late James H. "Harold " Lynn and the late Rosella Jones Lynn. Mr. Lynn was a graduate of Connellsville High School and he was retired from PPG in South Greensburg. He was a member and past Chief of the South Connellsville Fire Department and a member of the Albright United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, Mark Lynn and companion Deborah Rudnik of Connellsville, David Lynn and his wife Pamela of South Connellsville and Laura Locke and her husband Robert of Connellsville; grandchildren, Christopher Lynn and his wife Mandy, David Lynn, Jr., Ryan Lynn, Shane Lynn and his wife Jessica, Maggie Grimm and her husband Mike and Elena Renze; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Lois Jeffers of Kokomo, IN and one brother, George Lynn of Phoenix, AZ. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol L. Burke Lynn in 2016. As per the wishes of the family there will be no public viewing or services. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Suncrest Hospice and Amedisys Hospice and the staff of Hillside Estates Suites for their care and concern for James during his time residing there.
