<p>Steven “Steve” Lane Caillier, 67, of Buna, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at home surrounded by family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Steve was born May 24, 1957, in Orange, Texas to Jules and Lucille Caillier. He lived most of his life in Buna. He retired from his career as a mechanic for DuPont in Orange and later fulfilled his dream of opening a restaurant in Buna, where he shared his love for good food and community. Caillier’s Cajun Snack Shack was a dream come true for him, and he loved his job of feeding his family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Steve is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Caillier and David Caillier and his wife Nita, both of Buna; and his sisters, Sue Lackey and Norma Buffington and her husband Robert, also of Buna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, Feb. 22nd, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Kirbyville with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. The Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, Feb. 21st, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna followed with visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.</p>May 24, 1957 - February 18, 202505/24/195702/18/2025
