<p>Nancy Lou Giffin, 78, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Mansfield, Ohio. Born on January 7, 1947, in Mansfield, she spent her life in the community she loved, touching the lives of many with her warmth and creativity.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy had a remarkable ability to form lasting friendships wherever she worked. She held various jobs throughout her life but was especially proud of her role as the buyer and decorator for the large Penn Hallmark store, once located in the Johnny Appleseed Shopping Center. Her keen eye for design also shone during her time at Carlisle Gifts, where she transformed spaces with her decorating talents. Nancy was known for turning an assortment of items into something truly beautiful.</p><p><br></p><p>A long time member of Berean Baptist Church, Nancy’s faith was of great comfort to her. She turned her life to the Lord after receiving an invitation from a dear friend to join a bible study over 50 years ago.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy’s love for animals was evident to all who knew her. Always having a beloved dog or cat by her side, with golden retrievers holding a special place in her heart. In later years, Millie the golden doodle became the "love of her life," bringing her endless joy and companionship.</p><p><br></p><p>Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. From vacations to breakfasts with Santa to overnight stays, Nancy's most cherished moments included watching her grandchildren, Noah and Rebekah, grow from precious babies into accomplished young adults.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy is survived by her children Heather (Kent) Kapustar and Eric (Sami) Giffin, grandchildren Rebekah and Noah Kapustar (twins), and siblings Pat (Dennis) Martin and Harvey (Pat) Yoha.</p><p><br></p><p>Along with her husband of 55 years, Glen Terry Giffin, she is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ruth Yoha, and siblings Madelyn Silva, Bernard Yoha, and Janice Whisler.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy’s memory will live on through the love she shared with family and friends, the beauty she created through her decorating talents, and the kindness she extended to every animal that crossed her path. Her family takes immense comfort in knowing that she is no longer weighed down by the burdens of this world. Nancy is reveling in ever lasting peace in the presence of her Savior.
