<p>With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Patrice Adel (Pray) Loughran, lovingly referred to as “P”. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Portland’s Maine Medical Center on December 12th, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Lewiston, ME on June 2nd, 1954, she grew up in Minot, ME and Portland, graduating from Portland High School in 1972. Her selfless spirit led her to become a CNA, caring for others at Maine Medical Center and Pineland Hospital and Training Center until she devoted herself full-time to raising her children. </p><p><br></p><p>Patrice and her family lived in various places, including Windham, Yarmouth, and Eastport, Maine, eventually settling in Springvale, where she remained until her passing. </p><p><br></p><p>Patrice was the glue that held her family together, spreading love and joy through countless family meals and holiday spreads that will be cherished forever. Her love for music, piano, and guitar was inspiring, and her passion for painting, photography, and gardening was a testament to her creative spirit. She adored her grandchildren, showering them with unconditional love and spoiling them with her famous peanut butter fudge. Though her passing leaves a void, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. </p><p><br></p><p>She is predeceased by her father, Leslie Pray, her mother Ellen Melvin, step-father James Melvin, two brothers Leslie (Finn) Pray, James (Jay) Melvin, and Marion (Nana) Melvin. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her life partner John Loughran, her daughter and her life partner, Jennifer Loughran and Vincent Hersom, her son Ryan Loughran and his wife Lori, her son Thomas, her grandchildren Riley Doughty, Finn Doughty, Braedon Loughran, Colby Loughran, and Adel Loughran. She is also survived by her sister Susan Fecteau and her husband Gene of Windham, three brothers, Michael Pray and his wife Naomi of Mechanic Falls, James Pray and his wife Suzanne of Greene, and David Pray and his wife Sharon of Sanford. Her memory will be cherished by her nieces, dear friends, and all those whose lives she touched. </p><p><br></p><p>Though there will be no formal services, the family will gather for a celebration of life February 9th, 12:00pm at the Springvale Social Club, where we will come together to share stories, memories, and laughter, honoring the extraordinary life of Patrice Adel Loughran.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak St., Alfred, ME 04002</p><p><br></p>
