Holt, a cherished soul known for his vibrant spirit and unyielding devotion to his family, passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 48 after being stricken ill at his home in Whitinsville, MA. Born on August 6, 1976, in Framingham, Massachusetts, Jason's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and the enduring strength of family bonds.</p><p><br></p><p>Jason's early life in Framingham laid the foundation for the man he would become - a beacon of reliability and the quintessential life of any gathering. He was the son of the late Richard Holt, Sr. and Joyce (Hitt) Holt, and grew up surrounded by a large, loud, and loving family. His siblings, Richard Holt, Jr. (Lois), Cheryl Mattie (Charles), Ernest Holt, Steven Holt, Sr., Victoria Holt (predeceased), Denise Hefforn (EJ), Jodi Holt (Richie Ray), Jana Patterson (John), and Gino Blasotto (Lisa Collazo), will forever remember Jason's larger-than-life personality and the indelible mark he left on their lives.</p><p><br></p><p>Professionally, Jason was a man who wore many hats. He was a self taught mechanic, carpenter, and jack of all trades. His memory will live on through his daughters, Shyann Pepin (Joshua) and Taylor Holt, his grandchildren, Eliza and Beau, as well as his ex-wife Heather Holt.</p><p><br></p><p>Jason's personal life was enriched by his loving relationship with Heather Henning of Whitinsville, who stood by him with love and support. He also leaves behind his loyal dog, Gotti, who was a constant companion and source of joy.</p><p><br></p><p>Known for being a "lovable asshole," Jason's blunt candor was always delivered with a twinkle in his eye, endearing him to many. His presence at social gatherings was unmistakable; as a good DJ, he knew exactly how to elevate the mood and get people on their feet. His love for darts and whiskey was matched only by his love for music and the joy it brought to those around him.</p><p><br></p><p>As dependable as he was entertaining, Jason's commitment to his family and friends was unwavering. Whether it was through his engaging conversations or his ability to fix just about anything that was broken, he was the person you could count on, no matter the circumstance. His interests and hobbies were varied, but they all shared a common thread: bringing his loved ones together.</p><p><br></p><p>In the words of Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jason made everyone feel important, loved, and full of laughter. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless memories he created with all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>Jason's life was a vivid tapestry woven with the threads of joy, resilience, and an undeniable zest for life.
