<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ollie Aaron, who departed this life on December 08, 2024, at the age of 61. Ollie was a man whose kindness, generosity, and deep love for his family left a lasting impression on all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial services for Ollie will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin, LA. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Ollie had a spirit that was as warm as the meals he so lovingly prepared. A gifted cook, he took great pride in his BBQ, often gathering loved ones around the grill to share his cooking talents. His generosity was unmatched, always going above and beyond to help others and ensure those around him felt cared for.</p><p><br></p><p>A lover of music and dancing, Ollie had a zest for life that was infectious. He was known for his hard work, commitment, and unwavering dedication to his family. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he remained steadfastly devoted to them, providing a foundation of love and support for all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.</p><p><br></p><p>Ollie’s pragmatism and adventurous spirit made him someone others looked up to. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was traveling to new places, hiking in the mountains, or soaking up the sun at the beach. His favorite place to escape to was the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, where he spent many cherished moments exploring the beauty of nature. He was an avid hiker, always eager to share his passion for the outdoors with those around him. He also introduced many friends and family to Tallulah Gorge in Georgia, a place he loved for its breathtaking views and serenity.</p><p><br></p><p>Ollie’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will continue to inspire all who knew him. He leaves behind a family that will forever hold his memory in their hearts, as well as a wide circle of friends whose lives were forever touched by his generosity and spirit.</p><p><br></p><p>Ollie is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Monica Trosclair Aaron; his children, Kimberly Renee Rogers and her husband Jerry, Chetwin Aaron Johnson and his wife Elizabeth, Cory Eugene Aaron, Samantha Marie Johnson and her fiance Heath, Savanna Joyce Whitton and her husband David, Shanda Aaron, Brett Johnson and his wife Brook; his 13 grandchildren; his four great grandchildren; his brother, Marvin Hlavaty and his wife Beth; his sister, Kitty Hlavaty and her husband, James; his brothers-in-law, Merlyn Trosclair, John Trosclair and his wife Toni his sister-in-law, Janet Brescher and her fiance Tilford; as well as a host of extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.</p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Julia Aaron; his parents-in-law, Marie Brunella Trahan and her husband Jerry.</p><p><br></p><p>Ibert's Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.<br></p><p></p>
