<p>RONALD WESLEY SMITH was born April 8, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Edward Smith and Dorothy Cruse Smith. </p><p>RONALD was raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord and was baptized at a young age at Ellem Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. He reacquainted with Christ in his later years at Living Word Baptist Church under the Pastoral leadership of Rev Reginald Fletcher. </p><p>RONALD was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System where he attended Crispus Attucks High School. Ronald was an active participant in the school choir growing up. In the process he discovered his passion for performing. He loved to sing, dance and entertain. This love evolved into his career in the entertainment industry. In addition to being and entertainer, Ronald worked for the State of Indiana where he retired after 25 years of faithful, dedicated service. </p><p>RONALD enjoyed his family and friends immensely. He was always up for good music, good food and good laughs. Ronald was a show stopper with an infectious laugh as well as a love beyond measure for his dear mother, Dorothy Smith. Although Ronald never had children himself, he had a great love for his nieces and nephews. </p><p>RONALD WESLEY SMITH won his victory over asthma and took his last breath in peace, in his bed on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Anthony and Craig Smith. </p><p>RONALD leaves to cherish his memory; brother, George Smith, Sr. (Angela); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. </p>
