<p>Karen Faye Stanfill age 61 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024 at her residence.&nbsp; She was born September 18, 1963 in Kentucky, to her parents, the late Charles H. Taulbee and Essie Mae Casey Patterson.&nbsp; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Curtis Patterson; sister, Sharon Greer and brother, Charles L. Taulbee.&nbsp; Karen was retired from Star Manfacturing and was a Christian.&nbsp; She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Billy (Allison) Taulbee of Florida; grandchildren, Tegan, Mattilyn and Knox Taulbee; 3 sisters, Lisa Taulbee of Maine, Bonnie Drake of Kentucky and Connie Byrd of Kentucky; 1 brother, Danny Taulbee of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Mark Derrick.&nbsp; Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Friday, November 29, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will be Friday 11:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.&nbsp; DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Stanfill family.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
