<p>Johnnie Lee Parker was born in Lake, Mississippi, to Eddie Lee Sr. and Carrie Alice Parker on March 23, 1932. He was the second child out of ten children. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Dorothy Parker, Herbert Parker, Bernice Harris, Carrie Lee Long, wife Jerry Parker, and stepson Jimmy Gaye Madden.</p><p><br></p><p>In 1946, the Parker family relocated to Kansas City, Kansas. After attending Sumner High School, Johnnie worked in the construction industry. Later, he worked at Wilson Packing House, and his final employment was at Yellow Freight Trucking Company, where he retired in 1997.</p><p><br></p><p>Johnnie devoted his life to his family and touched many lives with his kindness. Daily, he would sit in his garage listening to country music or watching sports on television. He also loved to drive fast Dodge and Chrysler cars equipped with Hemi engines at the racetrack.</p><p><br></p><p>In 1975, Johnnie was one of the founding members of the Black Angels Motorcycle Club in Kansas City, Kansas. The Club held community events, including Toys for Tots, and provided Christmas baskets to families.</p><p><br></p><p>Johnnie was ordained as a Deacon on July 2, 2017, at Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas, where he devoted 30-plus years of dedication and service to ministry.</p><p><br></p><p>Johnnie Lee Parker, Sr. passed away at home on September 24, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters: Denise Brame, Kansas City, KS; Sandra Parker, Kansas City, KS; Leah (Keith) Parker-Slowter, Kansas City, Kansas; Stepdaughter: Diane Williams, Fayetteville, NC; Sons: Larry Parker, Kansas City, KS; John (Rovonia) Parker, Kansas City, KS; Brian Parker, Kansas City, KS; Rance Parker, Kansas City, KS; Patrick Parker, Kansas City, MO; Siblings: W. Grace Walker, Kansas City, MO; Arnetta (Fred) Starnes, Aurora, CO; Laura Jetkins, Denver, CO; Eddie Parker, Jr., Littleton; CO; and Valesta (Adrian) Clark, Denver, CO; 10 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchildren; two Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>March 23, 1932 - September 24, 202403/23/193209/24/2024
