<p><p>Marie (Mickey) Trotta, formerly of Mineola, NY, and devoted wife of the late Dominic Trotta, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Born in St. Albans, Queens, on May 14, 1930, to Fred and Agnes Herzberger, she was a dedicated parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Mineola for 50 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Marie had an amazing zest for life and enjoyed crocheting, golf, bowling, and hosting cocktail dinner parties with family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>She will be sadly missed by her son Bill Trotta, his wife Mary, and her three cherished grandchildren, Billy (fiancée Zoe), Kristy, and Devin.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment will take place on Wednesday, October 2, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rood Cemetery Mausoleum.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Havencare at Hancock Hall Recreational Resident Fund.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to the nurses and aides for their exceptional compassionate care.</p></p>May 14, 1930 - September 29, 202405/14/193009/29/2024
