<p>Doyle Wesley Utt, of Belle Plaine, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his home in Belle Plaine, Kansas at the age of 96.</p><p>Doyle was born the tenth of twelve children of Clarence and Effie (Harp) Utt on December 15, 1927 in Silverdale, Kansas.</p><p><br></p><p>His early life was marked by numerous relocations due to his father's work for the Midland Valley Railroad, shaping the resilience and adaptability that would define him throughout his life. A stalwart pillar of the Belle Plaine, Kansas community, Doyle lived a meaningful life filled with a sense of purpose and resolve. Characterized by his adventurous spirit, unwavering dedication, and an abundant capacity to love and support all those fortunate enough to have known him.</p><p><br></p><p>Doyle's work ethic was second to none. As a teenager, he left school to work for different people around town before eventually ending up at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas, a tenure interrupted only by his service in the armed forces. After his military service, he returned to Boeing, where he would dedicate over 46 years of his life, before retiring and subsequently working another eight years for USD 357. Doyle's dedication extended beyond his professional life to his community as well. He served as a reserve police officer in Belle Plaine and taught Hunter Safety for many years. Doyle was also a loving husband to Eledisia Mahan, whom he met in high school and married on December 6, 1947. Together, they traveled extensively, with Doyle supporting his wife at her quilt shows and ensuring the family enjoyed annual summer trips to Colorado. He was a man who loved his garden, relished the tranquility of fishing, and reveled in the joy his family brought him.</p><p><br></p><p>Doyle is survived by his devoted children, Beth (Jimmy) Pierson of Belle Plaine, KS and Bruce Utt of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren: Jarrod Pierson of Olathe, KS; Jolene (Chad) Blackwell of Belle Plaine, KS; Jessica (Gil) Manzano of Wichita, KS; Caleb Utt of Arkansas City, KS; great grandchildren: Arianna Manzano of Wichita, KS; Maddox Manzano of Wichita, KS; Mykenzie Utt of Belle Plaine, KS; Macie Manzano of Wichita, KS; Kynnedi Blackwell of Belle Plaine, KS; Aydan Utt of Arkansas City, KS; Exton Manzano of Wichita, KS; Carter Blackwell of Belle Plaine, KS; and great-great grandchildren, Brecken Bredvick and Raelynn Bredvick of Wichita, KS.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Effie Utt; wife, Eledisia Utt; siblings: Velma Utt, Warren Utt, Hazel Dobbs, Glen Utt, Helen Hansard, Doris Hammond, Kenneth Utt, Wendell Utt, Wayne Utt, Dora Howard, and Wade Utt.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service for Doyle will be held at the Belle Plaine Cemetery on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions can be given in his name to the Belle Plaine Church of Christ, 932 N.
