<p>Cheryl Marie Kuhlins (Gabel), 66, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away Wednesday September 18, in Canton after a long illness.</p><p><br></p><p>Cheri graduated from TVHS Class of 76 as a dental assistant and received her BS in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix. In the 80's Cheri &amp; and her husband, Wes, moved to California where she worked for the City of Pasadena and then Mammoth Mountain Resort as a Supervisor of Host Programs.</p><p><br></p><p>They both loved adventure &amp; nature and took many trips hiking, biking and skiing in the California mountains. Cheri loved crafts and made many beautiful items that she gave to family and friends over the years. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State football and went to many games when Ohio State played at the Rose Bowl. They relocated to Las Vegas briefly and then settled in Myrtle Beach, SC and Canton.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Fremont, Ohio but raised in Canton, she was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald F &amp; Clare C Gabel; sister, Christine E Devore, brothers-in-law, Richard Ream, Steven Everetts, Dean Dennis &amp; Allen Aungst</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish her memory; beloved husband, Wesley Kuhlins; son &amp; daughter-in-law Jeffery &amp; Laurie Kuhlins; grandchildren Wesley, Marshall, Mason, Makayla &amp; Josiah Kuhlins; siblings, Constance (Bill) Twiss, Chuck Devore, Carolyn Dennis, Cindy Everetts, Mark (Barbara) Gabel, Matthew (Lori) Gabel, Carla (Mark) Frank; sister-in-law, Judy Aungst and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Calling hours will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
