<p>Maude Phillips</p><p>September 24th, 1933 – September 15th, 2024</p><p><br></p><p>It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maude Phillips, beloved wife, sister, aunt, & friend, who left us peacefully on September 15th, 2024 at the age of 90.</p><p><br></p><p>Maude Phillips was born on September 24th, 1933 in Barbados. Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering faith, boundless joy, and deep love for her family. She had a special gift for making every moment brighter, always finding joy in life’s simplest pleasures.</p><p><br></p><p>Maude Phillips was passionate about dancing, traveling, and making memories with her family. She lived her life with gratitude, embracing every experience and adventure with an open heart. Her favorite color was pink & a reflection of her vibrant and warm spirit. Her favorite food was cou cou and flying fish and whenever she would eat she wouldn’t take a bite until everyone was at the table. Her favorite drink of choice was a whiskey neat. Her favorite team was the Mets and was very proud that she knew the Mets’ manager. She loved England with a passion; it was where most of her adventures took place until she came to the USA where she resided for the rest of her life.</p><p><br></p><p>Maude Phillips is survived by her siblings: Hyacinth Yard, Doreen Taylor, & Grantley Franklyn. Her nephews: Huevonne, David, Prince, & Christopher. Her nieces: Marcia, Henrietta, Claire, Omar, & Sonja. All will cherish the countless memories and the profound impact she had on their lives. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service to honor Maude Phillips will be held on October 5th, 2024 at 3:00pm at Sisto Funeral home 3489 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465. Her final resting place will be at Westbury Cemetery in St. Michael Parish, Barbados.</p><p><br></p><p>May Maude Phillips rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and joy continue to inspire us all.</p><p><br></p><p>The family of the deceased would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, & sympathies.</p><p><br></p>September 24, 1933 - September 15, 202409/24/193309/15/2024
