<p>Frank J Hernandez, Jr, 68, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Frank was born in Fort Wayne on June 25, 1956, to the late Frank Hernandez Sr. and Shirley Greene. He lived in the Fort Wayne area his whole life. Frank married the love of his life, Angela K Hernandez on August 4, 1978, who also precedes him in death. They raised their 3 children in New Haven, where they decided to spend the rest of their days. Frank was in the Army National Guard for 12 years. Worked as a heavy equipment operator in his younger years, then moved on to truck driving. He retired from Reilley Trucking so he could take care of his health and his sick wife. Frank loved Chicago Bears football, Dale Earnhardt Sr, Mario Golf (only on Game Cube), and his 3 amazing grandchildren. Frank is survived by his 3 children, Nichole Hernandez (Matt Bowman), Frank Hernandez III, and Rachael Frye (Dan Frye Jr). Two of his grandchildren; his “Rockguy” Zane Frye and his “Princess” Cadence Frye, and two of his brothers, Greg Hernandez and Phil Hernandez. Frank is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunt. He is preceded in death by his wife Angela, his “First Grandbaby” Trevor Hernandez, his parents, his brother Mike Hernandez, many aunts and uncles, and his best friends Ernest “Ray” Lowe and George Wiegemann. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 6pm, with a two hour visitation prior to service located at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St Fort Wayne, IN 46825).</p>June 25, 1956 - September 7, 202406/25/195609/07/2024
