<p>Susan Gloria Fife, 79, of Jefferson City passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Oak Tree Assisted Living in Jefferson City surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 9, 1944 in Staten Island, New York a daughter of Raymond C. and Gloria C. (Erickson) White. Susan graduated from Jefferson City High School class of 1963. She met her sweetheart the late William L. Fife and they were married on September 7, 1963 in Jefferson City, Missouri. Susan was a home maker that loved taking care of her family. She loved music and was a great cook. Her church life at Trinity Lutheran Church was extremely important to her, where she was a member of the Missionary Society. She also owned and operated an in-home daycare. Susan also volunteered as a reading teacher at Trinity Lutheran School.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Matt Fife (Brenda), Seth Fife (Jennifer), and Sarah Finney (Brian); son-in-law, Jim Lehmer; grandchildren, Erin Anderson, Jon Anderson, Gloria Anderson, William Fife (Chelsea), Elizabeth Schanbacher (James), Brady Fife, Hallie Fife, Alexander Fife, Hannah Wheaton, Matt Wheaton, and Noah Finney; she also included in her family, Reinhard Vister, as a grandson; great-grandchildren, Nolan Fife and Eliza Fife; brother, Scott White (Bridgett); sister, Linda Greve; and numerous extended family and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Nancy Jo, husband, and daughter, Leslie Susan Lehmer.</p><p><br></p><p>Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Trintiy Lutheran Sanctuary Fund.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, an additional visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 West Main Street, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109 (573) 636-3838.
