<p>Newton Wayne Shelly, Sr., long time resident of Bridgeview, Illinois, age 84, passed away on 08/29/2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou, nee Fliehler. Loving dad of Wayne Jr. (Dawn) Shelly, Kristie (Mark) Albrecht, Keith (Lisa) Shelly and Scott Shelly. Dear grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 12. Loving son of the late Merlee Alice, nee Quinn and the late Newton Lorenzo Shelly. Fond brother of the late Brenda Ross and the late Jerry (Jimmie) Shelly. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Newton Wayne Shelly was a longtime member of Teamsters Local 731 and lifetime member of Teamsters Local 714.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Newton may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
