<p>Lawrence “Larry” Edwin Rowland, 72, passed away peacefully at Gallagher’s Assisted Living in Billings, Montana on Monday, August 12, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry was born in Fort Benton, MT on April 25, 1952 to Theodore Calvin and Yvonne Margaret Rowland. He graduated from Moore High School in 1970 and went on to earn a degree from MSU Bozeman.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry was a rancher. He devoted most of his time caring for his livestock, dogs, cats, and his neighbors. Taking road trips, riding his motorcycle, or simply sitting back and observing what others were doing in the valley took up the rest of his spare time. Larry enjoyed fishing the Beaver Creek, riding four-wheelers, and pulling pranks/jokes on anyone and everyone he could. Beaver Creek Valley won’t be the same without him around. Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Yvonne Rowland; and his brother, Benard J. Rowland. He is survived by his sister, Lou Ann Pedersen of Worden, MT; and niece, Danielle Ann Pedersen of Worden, MT.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside Service for Larry will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 3 p.m. at the Beaver Creek Cemetery where he will rest next to his mother and be interred with cherished memories and letters.
