Born on July 25, 1940, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to the late Thadeous and Gertrude Gorgol, Jeff's life was a testament to the power of living with purpose and devotion.

Jeff's journey began as a young man when he answered the call of duty, enlisting in the U.S. Navy immediately after graduating from high school. His service to his country was a reflection of his commitment to the values of honor and sacrifice. Following his time in the Navy, Jeff channeled his precision and skill into a career as a machinist in tool and die, working for several companies where his expertise and work ethic were highly valued.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff was a devoted member of the New Life Missionary Church. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, and he dedicated his life to sharing his belief in God's love and grace with everyone he met. Jeff's calling was to guide others toward the light of faith, and he did so with unwavering passion and an open heart.

Jeff's love for his family was boundless. He was equally at home in his workshop, where his creative spirit came to life through woodworking. Each piece he crafted was a labor of love, imbued with the same care and attention to detail that he applied to every aspect of his life.

As we celebrate Jeff's life, let us remember the lessons he imparted through his actions and words. He taught us that love is the most powerful force we possess, that faith can move mountains, and that creativity is the soul's way of expressing its deepest desires.

Jeff's story is a reminder that each day is a gift to be cherished, that kindness can change the world, and that our lives are measured not by the wealth we accumulate but by the love we share and the hope we inspire. His journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the impact of his spirit will continue to resonate for generations to come.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 28,2024 at 11:00 am from the Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Rev.
