Lisa Caivano graduated from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. degree in English with a Psychology minor in 1978. In 1983 she earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She then began her career a a social worker for the State of CT Department of Social Services where she worked for 21 years. The clients she served during that time will long remember the help and guidance she provided to them in their times of need.
After retirement Lisa became active with the Prospect Democratic Town Committee and was subsequently elected to the Prospect Board of Assessment Appeals where she was currently serving her second term.
Those of us who knew Lisa recognized her generosity, intelligence, compassion and willingness to help wherever she could. Those of us whose friendships she made will keep her always in our memories and in our prayers.
