<p>Mr. Lee A. Nocera, 80, of Ellwood City, passed away on Sunday, August 11th, 2024, at his residence.</p><p>Lee was born on April 12th, 1944, in Ellwood City, to the late John and Jessie (Perrotta) Nocera. Lee graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1962. After business school, Lee began working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC, working in the printing department. While working at the FBI, he met Sandra McQauin, whom he later married. Lee and Sandy made Northern Virginia their home, where they raised their four sons. After leaving the FBI, Lee began his 30+ year sales career working in the Printing Industry. Lee worked with various organizations including non-profit organizations, helping to promote their missions. Lee later co-owned and operated his own printing business called “Senco” in Woodbridge, VA.</p><p>After retiring from the printing industry and the passing of his late wife, Sandy Nocera, Lee returned to his hometown, Ellwood City, PA to enjoy his retirement. Lee reunited with childhood friend Sandy Fogel and grew their childhood memories into a true love story for the next 20 years. Lee and Sandy enjoyed many family gatherings in their home with both of their families and friends.</p><p>Lee is a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church, Ellwood City Saxon’s Club, and the Sons of Italy #608. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring antique cars, boating, doing projects around the house, going to church, and was an excellent cook.</p><p>Lee is survived by his life-partner, Sandy Fogel, sons, Michael (George Marone) Nocera of Wilmington Delaware, Joseph Nocera of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and James (Christina) Nocera of Manassas Virginia, and grandchildren, Brianna, Lexi, Anthony and Elon Nocera. Nieces, Kimberly Morgan, Jenny Nocera and Nephew, John Nocera.</p><p>Lee was preceded in death by his late wife, Sandra (McQuain) Nocera, son, Mark Nocera, daughter-in-law, Melanie Nocera (James Nocera), brother, Michael W. Nocera, sister, Rose Marie Hendricks, and nephew, John Hendricks.</p><p>In memory of their father, sons, Michael, Joseph and James and families, will hold a Virginia service at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home in Dale City, VA. A graveside memorial at Lee’s final resting place, Fairfax Memorial Gardens, Fairfax, will follow.</p><p>Memorial contributions in Lee’s name may be made out to the Club Hope Foundation at; 113 Collins Road., Ellwood City, Pa 16117.</p><p><br></p>
