<p>Myrna (Brown) Aldrich passed peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo on August 2, 2024. She was born at home in Millbury, Ohio, May 20, 1941, to R.A. and Jewel Brown. On July 19, 1958, she married Dale E. Aldrich, who proceeded her in death. Together they raised their 5 children, sons, Dale II (Terri), Tim (Donna), Dave (Meredith) and Richie (Lori MacRitchie), and daughter, Lisa Brackett (Bill), all survive.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Myrna dedicated her life to Jehovah in 1975 and attended the Oak Harbor Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her greatest joy in life was her career as a housewife and stay at home mom. Her family looked forward to her regular Wednesday Family Night gatherings. She and Dale were able to spend many winters in their home in Kissimmee, Florida and Myrna loved giving visiting friends and family a tour of the Disney World area. Together she and Dale were known for paying-it-forward and in return received honor, respect and love from numerous friends and family. Their home was always a place of comfort and security. Many thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and the many friends and family who helped care for Myrna these last few months.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Elliot (Nicole), Daniel, Jimmy, Sophie, Carly and Jewel Aldrich and Tricia (Chris) Kline, 5 great grandchildren and six step-grandchildren and their children, her sisters, Mary Sherer, Alice (Larry) Lucas, Roberta Bradfield, her brother Robert (Sue) Brown and Sisters-in-law Lillian Hahn and Nancy Hess.</p><p><br></p><p>Besides her husband she was proceeded in death by her parents, grandson, Troy Aldrich, sisters Barbara Ludwig, Joan Meyer, brother Richard Brown and Sister-in-law Patty Gentry.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>We will miss you, Candy Grandma.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p><br></p><p>Friends and family may be received from 2:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa, Ohio. Funeral services for Myrna will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, also at the funeral home.
