<p> John David Sepmoree was born September 16, 1955 in Houston County, TX to David Sepmoree and Jean (Hollingsworth) Sepmoree. He passed away on July 3, 2024, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, TX at the age of 68. He was a lifelong resident of Crockett, TX.</p><p><br></p><p>John David was a graduate of Crockett High School. After graduation, he attended Angelina Junior College in Lufkin, TX receiving an Associate of Applied Science Degree, and Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. He was a registered nurse for over 35 years beginning his career at Houston County Hospital in Crockett, TX. Over his nursing career, John David made many friends to last a lifetime and touched many lives with his care. His professional memberships included Texas League of Vocational Nurses, which he was past president and Sgt. at Arms, and the Texas Nurses Association District 22.</p><p><br></p><p>John David is survived by his loving family: brother Jimmy Sepmoree of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law Becky and Stephen Keller of Weimar; nieces and nephews who he was so proud of and loved deeply, Duke Wood and wife Janet of Wimberly, Griffin Keller of Fulshear, Nicholas Keller and wife Kristie of Sealy, Jacob Sepmoree and husband Pedro Mudafort of Greenville, Emily Morales and husband Andres of Rosenberg, and Megin Sepmoree of Tyler; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were all very special to him. The family would like to thank Ree Hackett for her longtime friendship and care.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his parents David and Jean Sepmoree; his grandparents Dave Sepmoree, Opal and Delton Craven, H L Hollingsworth and Holly Brown; and his sister-in-law Pam Sepmoree.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 6, 2024 and funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the Callaway Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Keeney Dickenson and Rev. Andres Morales officiating. Interment will follow at Rice Cemetery.</p><p>Pallbearers will be: Duke Wood, Griffin Keller, Nicholas Keller, Jacob Sepmoree, Pedro Mudafort, and Jim Lovell.</p><p><br></p><p>If desired, memorials can be made to the Rice Cemetery Association, c/o Jack Vickers, 501 CR 3150, Crockett, TX 75835. </p><p><br></p><p>CALLAWAY-ALLEE FUNERAL HOME. </p>
