<p>Carolyn Lee Kelly, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 83. Carolyn was born on December 10, 1940, in Cass City, Michigan, to Basel and Lena (nee Rich) Heemer. She was a beloved longtime resident of Fraser and a proud graduate of Fraser High School.</p><p><br></p><p>Carolyn dedicated her professional life to meticulous data entry work, beginning her career at Chrysler Tank Arsenal, which later became General Dynamics. She concluded her career at CSC Corp, retiring in 1995 after many years of diligent service.</p><p><br></p><p>Beyond her professional achievements, Carolyn's passions were varied and vibrant. She was an avid reader and a loyal QVC shopper. She found joy in watching airplanes in the sky and freighters on the lake and observing the deer that visited her yard. Most importantly, Carolyn treasured time spent with her family.</p><p>After the sudden passing of her son-in-law, Carolyn's unwavering support for her daughter and her grandsons, Nathaniel and Cooper, became a cornerstone of her life. Her deep love and strong relationship with her grandsons were a testament to her caring and selfless nature.</p><p><br></p><p>A devout Christian, Carolyn's faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She prayed daily, finding strength and solace in her beliefs.</p><p><br></p><p>Carolyn is the loving mother of Stefanie (the Late David) Hodgson; beloved grandmother of Nathaniel and Cooper Hodgson; dear sister of Joyce (John) Ostrowski, Richard (the Late Anita) Heemer, Kathleen (the Late David) Pendzinski, the Late Nancy (the Late David) Lankard, and the Late Arthur Heemer; and former spouse of the late Samuel (Barbara) Kelly. She is also survived by her former sister-in-law Jennifer Heemer, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Her legacy of love, faith, and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have known her.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11am until 12pm with a funeral service beginning at 12pm at the Faulmann &amp; Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026.</p><p><br></p><p>Share memories with the family at</p><p><br></p>
