<p>Delonda Chesher, 74, of Greensboro, passed away Monday June 3, 2024, at Greenfield Healthcare surrounded by her family. She was born April 29, 1950 in New Castle, Indiana to Viola Blanch (Martin) Sneed and the late Robert Sneed</p><p><br></p><p>Delonda graduated from Knightstown High School in 1968 and in 1969 she married the love of her life, Ralph Chesher and enjoyed over 55 years of marriage. She was a member of the Bethel Holiness Church in Knightstown. She loved drawing and writing poems. Singing in church with her mother was something that put a smile on her face. Her grandkids were a treasure in her life. Her time with her family was what she cherished most.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish her memory are her husband Ralph: three children; Ralph Eugene (Jeff) Kern, Christopher (Samantha) Chesher and Howard (Nickie) Chesher: 9 grandchildren; Cheyenne, Cameron, Jacob, Nicole, Kailey, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Adrianna, and Lane: 2 great-grandchildren: Murphee & Maesynn; her mother: Viola Blanch (Martin) Sneed 5 siblings: two sisters; Vicki Ball & Jayne Gulley; three brothers; Martin Sneed, Mark Sneed & James Sneed, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family survive.</p><p><br></p><p>She was proceeded in death by her father listed above and children; Tania Chesher and Jay Chesher.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation for Mrs. Chesher will be Sunday June 9, 2024, at Rose City Funeral Home 2011 Broad St in New Castle from 2:00 ~ 5:00 PM.
