<p><p>Frederick W. Reitemeyer, 83, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Born in Clark, NJ to his late parents, Theodore and Margaret Reitemeyer, he is a United States Navy Veteran. He formerly resided in North Plainfield, NJ and worked for Xerox over 25 years before retiring and moving to Barnegat in 2008. Frederick enjoyed boating and fishing, but most of all his time spent with his family which included his dogs.</p><br> <p>He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ginger Reitemeyer; two loving sons, Mark and his wife, Yvonne Reitemeyer, Scott and his wife, Jennieann Reitemeyer; five cherished grandchildren, Veronica and her husband Kevin, Doug, Steven, Adam and Jason; two devoted brothers, Frank and his wife, Eileen and Robert Reitemeyer.</p><br> <p>A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.Barnegatfh.com) A Memorial Mass will follow 12:00 PM at St. Mary of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Lane, Manahawkin. Fred was our class organizer and informer for the class of 1958 for many years from New Jersey to California. He was a wonderful friend with a comedic sense from the political to the fun of aging. He will be missed.
