<p>Ruth H. Harris was born on August 17,1921, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the late James McCullars and Pearly Mae Matthews. Ruth was educated in the public schools in Akron, Ohio and retired as a homemaker. She was baptized at Northside Church of Christ on March 4, 1994 and was a faithful member until death.</p><p><br></p><p>Ruth departed this life on September 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Ayers, Elder Scott, and Clyde Harris; her only son, Eddie Scott; grandson, Jerome Austin and granddaughter, Crystal Thomas. </p><p><br></p><p>Ruth leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Dolores Ayers Flowers, Sarah Ayers Whitaker, Charlotte Ayers Miller, Diane Ayers Thomas and Lavonne Scott McKenzie; one brother, Lonnie McCullars; grandchildren, Dwayne Ayers (Lela), Brandon Ayers (Janice), Richard S. Austin (Tasha), Stephanie Andujar (Curtis), Timothy Austin, Tessa Austin, Marvin Flowers (Sula Mae) Daryle Miller (Gwen), Cassandra Cooper (Tony), Christopher Miller (Lila), Richard Thomas, Deanna Thomas, Percy Thomas Jr (Tina), Willie McKenzie (Cynthia), Susie McKenzie and Brandon McKenzie; 39 great-grandchildren, 38 great great-grandchildren; 1 great great great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p>August 17, 1921 - September 19, 202108/17/192109/19/2021
