<p>Birane was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 29, 1999 to Souleymane Faye and Tracy Lawton. He attended school in Jacksonville, FL and received his education at Cedar Creek Christian School. Birane was employed by JSO as a Corrections Officer and recently started the transition process to become a Police Officer.</p><p> </p><p>Birane departed this life on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Lawton.</p><p> </p><p>Birane leaves to mourn his passing: his dad, Souleymane Faye; mom, Tracy Lawton; brother, Ahmet Faye; three aunts, Juanita Wright, Harriette Lawton, Amelia Miranda; three uncles, Carey Lawton, Jeroy Lawton, Craig Wright Sr.; close cousins, Tiera Jackson, Travis Jackson, Craig Wright Jr.; godbrothers, Aarlan Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, Derek Simmons, Dietrick Stafford, Isaiah Corner, Jaris Durden; and a host of other relatives and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>The funeral service for Birane Faye will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 1372 Lane Ave South, Jacksonville, FL 32219. The visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 15th, 2021 at the Funerals by T.S. Warden, 4315 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
