<p>Michael Saylor, 37, of Bayview, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.<br></p><p><br></p><p>He was born on January 14, 1986 in Sandusky, Ohio and was a graduate of Margaretta High School in 2004.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a generous soul and would give you the shirt off his back. He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed four-wheeling, boating and fishing, water skiing and snowboarding; he was also an avid reader.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by one son, Camden Hineline, his mother and step-father, Tracy and Ben Chapman, his father, Bill Saylor (Sue), two step-brothers, Travis Chapman and Justin Crank and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Chiow.</p><p><br></p><p>Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Barb Saylor and his maternal grandfather, Max Rhonehouse.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave., Sandusky until time of memorial service at 1 p.m.</p><p><br></p><p>Those wishing to contribute to Michael's memory may do so to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be shared online at www.grofffuneralhomes.com.</p>January 14, 1986 - March 29, 202301/14/198603/29/2023
