<p>Marlene Busch (nee Cheifetz), passed away in Boston, Massachusetts on 3/28/2023 following a lengthy illness. She was born and raised in Philadelphia and later moved to Atlantic City, where she lived for 34 years. Marlene was passionate about her family. Mah jong was a close second. She was married to George Busch for 57 years; they loved each other deeply, and together with much love they raised their three children Steven, Scott, and Alisa. Marlene loved to be surrounded by her family—sisters, brothers, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews (and grandnieces and grandnephews). Her home in Atlantic City was a gathering place for her family of all generations. She made everyone feel special, welcome, and loved. </p><p>She is pre-deceased by her sisters Dorothy Zussman and Sylvia Kale, her sister-in-law Charlotte (Busch) Mitnik, and her husband George. She is survived by her children: Steven (Beth), Scott, and Alisa (Andy Dankwerth), her grandchildren: Ilayna, Mason, Max and Sam Busch and Matthew and Ben Dankwerth, and her brother Louis Cheifetz and sister-in-law Sheila Cheifetz. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and great aunt. She will be so very missed.</p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services Friday 1:30PM precisely at Goldsteins’ Suburban North, 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment at Montifiore Cemetery. Shiva following interment at the home of Steve and Beth Busch. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hebrew Rehabilitation Center-Boston 617-363-8000.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
