Andrea (Andi) Lynn Margason, 46, of Pontoon Beach, Illinois passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Four Fountains in Belleville, surrounded by her family. Andi was born on Saturday, December 20th 1975 in Normal, IL; Daughter of Irene Bertelsman (Dennis) and John Everett (Merry). After graduating from El Paso High School in '94 she went on to graduate from Blooming Academy of Beauty Culture in '95. She was a hairstylist for 25+ years. In her free time Andi enjoyed taking care of her cacti, succulents, and houseplants. She loved video chats with her grandkids, hanging out around the kitchen table with family and close friends, and her puppies Lilly, and Rue. Andi is survived and will be missed dearly by her Parents; children, Chaylynn Pratt (Marcus) of Roodhouse, IL, Chaise Pratt (Maverick) of Madison IN, Layton Letford of Collinsville IL, and Dylan Margason of Granite City IL; grandchildren, Cayden Hillman-Miller, Connor Miller, Liora Beck and Adaline Beck, and her siblings, Ryan Sturm (Amanda), Scott Everett (Patty), Tina Smith, Chad Bertelsman (John), and Dena Schmid (Matt); many nieces, nephews, uncles and many other close family members and friends. Andi was preceded in death by her husband Shawn Margason, whom she married on September 24, 2011; grandson Donovan Haven, her grandparents Charlton (Rusty) and JoAnn Sturm as well as John C and Ruth Everett. In celebration of Andi's life, please wear your favorite tie dye or purple, visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 1:30pm at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 2550 Maryville Road in Granite City. Memorial Donations are suggested to the St. Louis Region of the Pink Ribbon Girls.
