Linda Thomas Lucas
Linda Lou Thomas Lucas, 75, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Monday morning, January 24, 2022, at her home. Born in Pageland, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eldridge Thomas and Mae Lee McManus Thomas. Linda was an accounting manager at Springs Industries Customer Service Center, Lancaster, S.C., for 30 plus years. She loved spending time at the beach and making crafts. She especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry M. Lucas, of the home; 2 daughters, Charla L. Jensen and her husband, Mike of Parker, TX, Tracy L. Faile and her husband, Mark of Lugoff, S.C.; 4 adored grandchildren, Lucas Jensen and his wife, Mackenzie and Reagan Jensen all of Parker, TX, Bailee Faile and Erica Faile both of Lugoff, S.C.; a sister, Betsy Thomas of Cheraw, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Margie McManus of Lancaster, S.C.; special friends, Ann Catoe and Jan Catoe and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James McManus. A service to remember and celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday afternoon, January 27, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. A private family burial will be held in the Kershaw City Cemetery at a later date. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at their home. Memorial remembrances may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, 7737 Kershaw Camden Highway, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 in memory of Linda.
