Ross Joseph PalermoOn Monday, January 3rd of 2022, Ross Palermo, of Bloomingdale, Illinois, passed away peacefully. Born on November 12th of 1949, he was raised in Melrose Park with his parents, brothers and sister. It is in Melrose Park that he met the love of his life and wife of over 50 years, Debra Palermo, nee Cappilupo. Ross was a loud, loving, kind, jovial, and grateful man, which made him an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Thus he was loved by many and now will be missed by many. Ross was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus and made many devotions to our Blessed Mother Mary. He imparted his love and faith in Jesus and hope in his children and grandchildren. Ross is now watching over all of his loved ones and his soul will live on in those who loved him. Ross is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Debra (Cappilupo) Palermo, his devoted daughter Nicole Palermo-Pendola and her husband Steven Pendola, his devoted son, Christopher Palermo and his wife Laura Beth (Brown) Palermo, his cherished and loving grandchildren Emmalena Rose and Joseph Ross Palermo, Graciana Rose and Hailey Ann Pendola, his great grandson Vincent Khoshaba, his brother Anthony Palermo and sister Renee Guzzardi (Palermo), his sister in laws and brother in law, several loving nieces and nephews, multiple adoring cousins and so many beloved friends. Ross was preceded in death by his parents Eugene (Geno) Palermo and Florence (Flo Briliant) Palermo, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank P. Cappilupo and Marie (Perrino) Cappilupo, his brother Eugene (Gig) Palermo, and many more loved ones that were dear to him and welcomed him into Heaven. Ross's loving family, thanks all of you, for the multitude of support and mostly the prayers throughout the years. Please continue to pray for Ross's soul and for his family at this difficult time. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, from 3:00 pm-9:00 pm at Bucaro Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 485 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 13th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 1101 23rd Ave, in Melrose Park with a Visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
